1. Face Atelier Brushes
(cue singing angels) I have a plethora of brushes and a variety of brands in my kit, but my favorite brushes in the entire world are, hands down, FA brushes. They are dreamy. For serious. I own 9/13 of them. And look, I know it retails for 72 bucks, but the #1 powder brush is the SOFTEST brush you will ever feel. EVER. And look at it this way, that's $72 closer to $150 to qualify for free shipping!

2. Beautyblender
If you've sat in my chair, you know what this is. You've heard me say, "I love this thing" and "I don't know how I ever lived without my Beautyblenders." Right? Right. Why? Check out this post where I crush on it pretty ding dang dong hard.

3. Sephora Heated Eyelash Curler
"What is that??" Sometimes I get so caught up in what I'm doing, I forget to warn my clients with a simple, "hey, I'm coming at your eye with this heated cylinder thing." And I don't mean to blaspheme, but Shu Uemura, Shmu Uemura. I've tried it. I took it out of my kit, because it doesn't do what I need it to do, namely... ya know, curl lashes. The true test is whether or not a curler can curl my very straight downward-sloping lashes. This does it. Or if you want to be really fancy, check out this one I just recently purchased.

4. Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet +
Please, PLEASE, never ever waste money on high-end mascaras. This little tube is all you'll ever need, and it's at your local drugstore.

4. Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet +
Love. Love, love, love, love, love, love, love. Foundation with a matte finish that actually looks like skin?! Yes, yes it does. I use this particular foundation on myself. I have dehydrated oily skin (can you imagine!), and this is the best foundation I have ever used. If I had to choose one, MUFE would be my favorite line. I have a lot - A LOT - of MUFE in my kit. It's just so dang good. This line was created by professionals for professionals, and I happen to know that they do extensive research and development before putting anything on the market. They are truly dedicated to creating quality products. You just can't go wrong; they have something for everybody.

Happy shopping, and don't forget to treat yourself!
