Anyway, on to some housekeeping (sweep, sweep... GET IT?). Wedding season is keeping me pretty busy. I've received a few inquiries regarding my bridal portfolio, as my portfolio on my website doesn't showcase anyone with veils or tiaras atop her pretty head. It is actually considered by colleagues and professionals in my industry to be amateurish to showcase bridal photographs in one's portfolio. Sad day. So, here's my big announcement: in the interest of not having to explain the absence of bridal photos in my portfolio, I will be working with my awesome web designer on a wedding website - this website will be focused on my bridal/special occasion work, complete with bridal portfolio, FAQ, and pricing. This way my commercial/fashion work and bridal work are kept separate and everyone is happy. I hope to have the site up and running by the end of the year, but no promises!
Now that business is out of the way, here's why we're all really here. Behold the Cool and Creamy Frozen Mojito Cake:
Review: This is probably the fanciest dessert I've ever made it, and it is also one of the yummiest desserts I've ever tasted. Man, I'm drooling just thinking about it. The amount of rum is just right, and the salty pretzel crust complements the sweetness of the (cheese)cake. The mister thought this was too sweet, but he's a wimp. ;)
No lie - this entry took me 3 days to write.

Hey girlie!!! My blog is shiteous...my lifeafterido.com has fallen flat. Lost direction. I really like your motivation that you have your own business. I'm jealous and you're very inspiring. So keep me posted more often on your going-ons. So I can be motivated to buy my nikon. :)
